Cusco was the center of Andean universe, the city has been occupied for 7000 years, and Inkas considered as the most sacred city in their whole territory, nowadays it has pre- inkas, inkas, colonials, republican, and modern bulding, it was amazing architecture, history and myths, its the fable land of the Inkas.

History of the City

Cusco city was the capital of Inkas territory developed, under the ruler of Inka Pachaquteq, with different religious and administrative centers, when spaniards arrived in 16th centuries they preserve the basic structures of Inkas buildings and built baroque churches, palaces, houses, over the ruins of Inkas City.

 

We start walking from your Hotel and we see different colonial houses and our guide will explain the main function of them in Inkas times, also we are going to visit Qoricancha, (temple of the Sun in 15th centuries), we visit the local market San Pedro to see all the local vendors and observe different kind of products, at the end we visit the Cathedral built in 1650 by spaniards following the same  idea of Cathedral in Spain.
